My commitment is to show up to whatever life delivers with all of my Authentic Self, Presence and love. Relationships are core important to me. I am a psychotherapist in private practice and see my work as a spiritual pracitce in being present, in getting out of the way, in deep listening and attuning, and in loving beyond concepts. I am married to a wonderful man who has been by my side for twenty eight years. I struggle with living with Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was fourteen years old. This relationship continues to be my diving board into many lessons and into learning tools for healing, being good to my body, opening to embodying the highest frequency possible at any given moment and being compassionate, soft and tender with myself when my body doesn't feel good. I wrote a workbook called Toolbox of Hope: For When Your Body Doesn't Feel Good -- this is the book i would have liked to have had when I was growing up. ribute the book and has led to doing workhsops in various parts of the country for children living with disability and illness and also their parents. Along with living wiht "Arthur", i have expereinced deep grief over the last few years, when my soulmate bro had a brain injury and my mother had a horrific descent into her transition. i feel a returning into loving life fiercely as I am now in my fifties and feel the presence of mortality and the eternal intermingling in my daily awareness. I feel the Oneness of all of life and especially live a reverence for all living creatures. My devotion is to animals and to helping as many as possible. The need is endless, the cruelity humans impose on other living beings is heartbreaking and i try to keep my focus on how every action counts! I was part of a team that helped to pass Grace's Bill here in Georgia that will close all of the gas chambers in Georgia by the end of the year. It was so gratifying to finally get this bill passed after years of opposition that kept this horrid way of dying in tact. I am deeply disturbed with an awareness that America has been taken over by corporate greed and i greive democracy. Also, i feel in my body that we are in urgent times with climate changes, economic crisis and unconscious polluting and making wrong choices that kill off so many species, including humans one day if we don't wake up quickly. All of this to say that the most important thing is that "This" right here is the only aliveness to know and my desire is to live as consciously as i can, with as much love flowing through me as possible.".
